Complex geospatial applications often require processing immense volumes of point data when displaying maps, and intense spatial analytic tasks can severely task application performance. Oracle 23ai’s new geospatial features like spatial vector tiles and hexagonal hierarchical spatial indexing (H3) offer dramatically improvements application performance in these circumstances.
